Organic Lighting guides the way across Montreal’s Royalmount skybridge

Organic Lighting’s OrgaRail® Square illuminated handrails and OrgaLED® Side lighting, both in 3000K, have been installed on Montreal’s Royalmount pedestrian skybridge.

Organic Lighting products have been installed along the Royalmount pedestrian skybridge in Montreal, Canada, providing integrated illumination throughout the enclosed crossing.

The bridge connects the Royalmount district directly with De la Savane metro station, crossing the Décarie Expressway and giving pedestrians a comfortable, accessible route throughout the year.

OrgaRail® Square illuminated handrails integrate lighting directly into the handrail structure, combining guidance, visibility and architectural detailing within a single system. OrgaLED® Side provides controlled, directional illumination along the route, helping place light where it is needed while reducing unwanted spill and glare.

Both products were specified at 3000K, creating a warm and consistent appearance throughout the pedestrian connection.

Designed by Sid Lee Architecture for Carbonleo, the Royalmount skybridge was completed in 2024 as part of the wider Royalmount development. Phosled Solutions Inc. takes credit for the landscape architecture and lighting application.
